Visit an Outpost’s Research Console to upload your catches and reveal their Potential. Common, Good, Elite and Perfect are quality ratings, separate from level, personality and special forms. Review the result screen’s Release filters before proceeding: do not let a low-quality filter decide which companions you keep.

Reveal a catch’s Potential
The recorded console says submitting a report does not itself lose your Aniimo, but the same interface includes separate release controls. Treat appraisal and disposal as separate decisions.
- Open the map and travel to an accessible Outpost. Find the Research Console and use its interaction prompt.
- Upload the research report. The result assigns Potential labels to the catches and shows the report rewards.
- On the result screen, inspect the Release selections at the bottom before proceeding. Clear unwanted selections rather than accepting a quality-based release rule for catches you have not compared.
- Open Aniimo management and select a companion to inspect its quality, stats and personality.
Read the quality separately from level
Potential is not the number beside Lv. A higher-level duplicate can show higher current stats even when its Potential rating is lower. Sparkling, Prismana and Alpha labels answer different questions from the Potential grade.

Compare two copies before investing
- Compare the same species and form first; different forms can have different elements or skills.
- Check the level and existing training before comparing displayed stats.
- In Aniimo management, open the personality letters beside the stat panel to read the actual bonuses.
- Our suggestion: keep the copy whose abilities and bonuses suit the job you need. A quality label alone is not a universal team ranking.
Before you release anything
- Inspect each selected companion, including its special form or appearance. The filmed console excludes Sparkling, Prismana and Alpha from its automatic release rule; do not assume every other release screen does the same.
- Keep a replacement for any movement or team ability you currently rely on.
- Check whether you have already spent training resources on this copy. Review inheritance before disposing of an invested companion.
- Keep collection favourites and unique rewards if you want them, regardless of rating.
- Read the final selection and confirmation. A way to recover accidentally released companions has not been confirmed.
Our recommendation is to leave automatic release off until you are comfortable identifying the copies you want to keep.
