Development and storefront credits
Pawprint Studio signed the September 3 development letter and is credited as Aniimo’s developer. Storefronts use different publishing names; the entries below reproduce their own labels.
| Store | Developer field | Publisher field |
|---|---|---|
| Steam | Pawprint Studio | Pawprint Studio |
| Epic Games Store | Pawprint Studio | Pawprint Studio |
| PlayStation Store · US | Not separately listed | PAWPRINT INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT PTE. LTD. |
Where FunPlus fits in
In GamesBeat’s interview with Chris Petrovic, FunPlus describes Aniimo as a major cross-platform project developed with partner Pawprint Studio. The report says the project was greenlit in 2022. This explains FunPlus’s involvement without replacing the developer and publisher labels on each store.
These sources do not establish a complete corporate ownership structure. Use the regional store’s own publishing credit for store-related questions.
Why do the names differ?
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Who develops Aniimo? | Pawprint Studio identifies itself as the development team in its September 3 letter; Steam and Epic use that developer name. |
| Why does PlayStation show a longer name? | The US store lists PAWPRINT INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT PTE. LTD. as publisher. It does not separately list a developer field. |
| Does FunPlus’s involvement change the store credits? | No. The interview describes its involvement; the storefront table above preserves each store’s own label. |
Follow gameplay and development updates
Use official notices for availability and rule changes. The September 3 letter explains launch changes to training, Prismana encounters and Legendary catching; a company interview is not a substitute for current gameplay instructions.
