Prismana Flow attracts Prismana Aniimo. At launch, ecosystem nurturing has a fixed base trigger chance, and catching can produce lucky strikes that raise Prismatic Energy or trigger a Flow directly. Umbral encounters follow a separate Wild Surge or open-world route.
Ways to trigger a Flow
Continue exploring and catching while working on an area’s ecosystem. Both offer a chance to trigger a Flow, so an individual attempt may not succeed.
- Nurturing: each nurturing attempt uses the same base chance. The guarantee system remains.
- Catching: lucky strikes provide rewards and Prismatic Energy, with a chance to trigger Flow directly.
Prismatic Energy at launch
Nurturing now adds a fixed amount of Prismatic Energy. Low energy no longer reduces the early base trigger chance as it did during testing.
The launch announcement does not provide a numerical trigger rate, guarantee counter or energy threshold. Old beta probability tables may no longer apply when planning how to spend resources.
Prismana is not the same as Umbral
Offering quality no longer changes Wild Surge quality. A rare appearance alone does not identify an evolution stage or a guaranteed Prismana encounter.

What changed after the tests?
- The early low-energy penalty was removed; a fixed base chance and guarantee remain.
- Lucky strikes became another path to Flow.
- Season-exclusive spawn rules were revised. Follow the current season’s conditions rather than an older test schedule.
Eggs and Legendary catching
The developer letter also lists a chance of Prismana-trait eggs from RV dispatches. Paid Handbook eggs depend on the version in which the Handbook is redeemed.
Irisalis has its own token-and-encounter progression. It is not a Prismana Flow reward route.
