Choose an official store
Choose the free base game on your regional store. The US PlayStation page currently lists it as Free with Add to Library; select the base game rather than a currency bundle or optional pack. For native iOS and Android, check the mobile guide before following the official store links.

Match the error before reinstalling
Before you install on PC
- Use a current release installer; the previous closed-beta client is no longer usable.
- Compare your CPU, graphics card and memory with the published requirements.
- Allow 40 GB of free drive space. The compressed download size may differ.
- An SSD is recommended. Follow the current launcher or store installation prompts.
Install and sign in
- Choose Windows, PS5 or Xbox Series X|S above and install through that official launcher or store.
- Let the release client finish downloading and verifying its files.
- If you have an Aniimo Pass, check the account-linking instructions before the first console sign-in.
- Select your intended server and character. Use the troubleshooting guide if installation or login fails.
Storage and the earlier preload period
Preloading began September 14 and required a paid pack on consoles. That early-download condition is historical: PC and console servers are now live, and a pack is not required for the free game.
