Track the right quest
Start with Ranka in Bloomville, in the Sea of Flowers. Track A Fragrant Journey: Beast Fang Ridge and read the active objective. This branch sends you to a named story companion; a captured Emberpup will not substitute for that conversation.
Track the partner’s scent on Beast Fang Ridge
Twine with an Emberpup on Beast Fang Ridge, then use its sense of smell to track the Fragrant Emberpup’s scent to its hiding spot. Speak to that named companion and follow your active objective.
The campfire group outside the dead forest starts the separate Warrior sequence. Player reports mention the campfire, but reaching it alone does not replace scent tracking. Complete Warrior when the flower objective requires it.
The map shows the region; an exact location pin is still unconfirmed. Quest and character names can differ between translations.
From scent tracking to the reward

If the objective will not move on
