Choose your account and server first
If you intend to continue an existing character, confirm the account and server before creating a new one. Seeing the creation screen unexpectedly can mean you signed in through a different method or chose another server.
Import a Face ID or QR design
- Open the character appearance editor. A launch-period player report places its import icon at the top right; controller prompts may differ.
- Choose Import Face Data and use the Face ID or QR option offered by your client.
- Preview the face, including hair and makeup, before accepting the design.
- Read the final confirmation and its cost. Save only when the result is the look you want.
Keep a copy before changing your look
Use the editor’s export or face-data sharing option to keep your current design before trying another preset. Save the ID or QR image with a matching preview and the server where it was created.
Players report exporting and importing a draft repeatedly before committing an appearance voucher. Previewing a design and applying a paid appearance change are separate actions; read the confirmation in your current client.
When a face code does not work
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Import control missing | Open character customization and look for Import Face Data. Controller shortcuts are still unconfirmed; follow the prompts on your screen. |
| Face ID rejected | Check copied spaces and similar characters. Request a fresh export and check the game version used. |
| QR image unreadable | Use the original uncropped image or request a typed Face ID. A portrait screenshot without face data is not an import code. |
| Face is already in usage | There is no confirmed fix yet. Keep your existing design and send the exact error to Support. |
| Unexpected voucher or currency charge | Cancel before confirming and check the appearance-change cost. Applying an imported preset may still cost a voucher or currency. |
Do not delete a character, unlink an account or move servers to troubleshoot a cosmetic preset.
